okay the first story was the box and it was AMAZING. albeit very short and to the point. but i really liked the message behind it.
so the book started off VERY promising. but then the stories kind of got confusing and all over the place and just..wth. especially the last one. i have absolutely no idea what it was about and what the characters were. human? animal? bees? aliens? no clue. i was sorry i wasted the money on it. but i do love the short story of the box. just not the book in general.1 out of 2 people found this review helpful.

The Box
My only complaint on this book is that, the story that was based on the book was to short. It didn't really give you to much in site on the movie. It was more like a teaser. The rest of Richard Matheson stories was great until you got near to the end. And then the stories just got crazy, and stupid lol.
My favorite stories of the whole book are:The Girl of My Dreams, Dying Room Only, and No Such Things as Vampires. All three of them were great stories, and had a very unique ending.
BUT ABOVE ALL I AM A BIG FAN OF RICHARD MATHESON BOOKS!!!!1 out of 1 people found this review helpful.

TERRIBLE
what a waste of time!!! this book is full of little short stories with absolute zero meaning, made zero sense, and just left you hanging. i seriously felt like i was kiling brain cells with every paragraph. the first "book" that i have ever chose not to finish. it SUCKED
