However, after I read this book I decided it was my absolute favorite book of all time. I have given it as a gift numerous times and I cannot wait until my son is old enough to read it!

Don't read.

I expected a thrilling adventure of a boy somehow catching a murderer with his father but got a dull story of a pretty ordinary year at the beginning and found myself wanting to stop and quit on the book.

    Highly recommended!!!

I read Boy's Life for the 1st time probably 15 years ago. I loved it them and still love it. My book club read it recently and we were all taken with Cory and his life. Robert McCammon is a wonderful writer and takes us back to a different time that we remembere well. Maybe not a more simple time but definitely a more magical one. Boy's Life is quite different than McCannon's other books in that it is not scary, just purely magical.

It was an ok book, wouldn't recommend it though.

I think that the plot was good, but sometimes it seemed to trail off a little. The book wasn't very interesting to me, I think that it could have been better. I usually enjoy murder mysteries, but i thought this one was just missing something to make it keep my interest.

    An Okay Book

This was an okay book. I had to read it for summer reading for 9th grade literature. It was verry good the first couple of chapters, but then i got really boring and i had to force myself to read it. There were some other good chapeters but overall I personally found it verry boring.

    ¿Boy¿s Life¿ was a so-so book.

Some chapters were better and more exciting than others, that¿s for sure. I think that McCammon went into too much detail, some pages seemed like a waste of space. On the other hand, the mystery of it was great. I probably would recommend this to someone who has the time to read it.

    .

The book turned out better than I thought it would be. It had a pretty good beginning. Later in the book it seemed like the author got of target and in to much detail. Some things had nothing to do with the story line. Overall the book was alright.

    So-So...

It was an interesting book with some fun parts and a lot of slow and boring parts. It was a good mix of drama, action, comedy, and mystery. Decent book but too long and drawn out.

    A great book.

I thought Boy's Life was a good book to read for the summer. It never gave away what would happen next and that's what I liked about it. It had many twists and kept me entertained. I would recommend this book to anyone.
