    Your child will love this!

I bought this product as a way to increase conversation with my 2 year old and make him more familiar with daily activities. Right away he was addicted to these wonderful cards. He likes being able to use Max to point to different scenes and has even taken Max to his other books. All parents should have these, and with the suggestion guide for adults, there is no way to do it wrong.

    Great For The Kidos

I purchased this for my sister's daughter, I looked through it before sending it to them & was really impressed. (I also purchased the 1st grade one for my son & they are both GREAT) I speak to my sister daily & she is able to sit & work with her daughter at least once a day & she loves it, because it was especially for her it gives her & mom one on one time & helps her learn at her age level.

    Why Four Stars?

I think that Brain Quest is great as a product as a whole. It does a great job teaching kids things that we, as parents, may not think about. The issue I have with the Age 2-3 version is that the cards are rather cheap and flimsy card stock. If you have a 2-year-old, you know that they are going to want to handle these cards at some point. If you know this, then you know that they are going to rip, eat, bend, etc. these cards until you cannot fit them back into their case. We had initially purchased the Age 3-4 version up for our (in our opinion) gifted 2-year-old and the paper stock they use for that series is much more durable. It can handle the hands of a toddler. We then purchased this version for our baby and were quickly disappointed by the paper quality (you are not able to see the paper quality at the store). The information is very valid and useful. However, it would behoove the creators to reprint this in better paper stock.
