    Sting Rules a New Day

Excellent CD. Really enjoyed the new types of sounds. Ocassionally there is a track that you skip over to get to the next better song, the only uncharacterist quality, but it only happens once or twice. Looking forward to seeing Sting live in concert in Austin TX on Aug. 26th.

    Even I like it!

I'm a young teenage girl who's very much into hard rock, but my mom likes more folk or soft rock kinds of music and Sting is one of her favorites. When we're in the car, she listens to what she wants to listen to. After hearing the new Sting cd a few times in the car, I came to the realiztion that Sting was a pretty cool guy and the music was really great. Sting is the kind of artist that can appeal to many people, even if they don't usually listen to that kind of music. It's a great cd.

    Pushing the Boundaries

You can always expect something new and fresh from Sting. That is why I keep buying his albums. You can feel his emotions through the music and interesting lyrics. If you like radio music, don't bother. If you like to be adventerous, jump right in.

    sting matured

At first Brand New Day is a relatively inaccessible CD. But when you have listened to it for about three times the songs will go in your head and won't come out any more. Sting is what you might call a great composer influenced by ethnic and pop music of all kind his use of jazz chords but keeping his compositions open and not beeing afraid to use the best musicians makes him one of my favourite pop composers. It's a mellow and tranquille CD that you will enjoy listening when you are feeling down. It shure picked me up, so try it.
