    The Formula Works Well

The second O'Shaughnessy novel I've read, I found it enjoyable and a little more plausible than the first I read, "Move to Strike." I hope that's not an indication previous works exhausted the formula. Most of the characters are well developed, though I think the Markov's would have benefited from a little more in-depth an explanation. I liked that the action in this novel, for the most part, was a little more understated than I expected. It seems to deal with the human condition as much as the circumstance, though it does march you through, in its entirety, a legal trial and its ramifications. Unfortunately, it does manage to stoop to the requisite finale as a "big chase." I'd like to see the O'Shaughnessy sisters apply their wit and imagination in a little less pedestrian way. "Breach" IS worth reading.

    A compelling read

This is a book worth giving a chance. Strong characters, and perfectly detailed plot.

    Riveting!

I have read four of their books now and pass them along to co-workers who also love them. I look forward to reading each one they publish.
