Bringing up Baxter is a romantic tale that is both humorous and sexy. Peggy Webb creates a story about an uptight attorney and a bad boy, who find love despite the differences between them.

B.J. Corban, an attorney who was jilted at the altar by her cheating fiancé who went on their scheduled honeymoon with the younger woman he  cheated with, is sent on a camping trip to recover, by her zany sister. Equipped with all the camping gear she feels she needs to survive in the great outdoors, B.J. soon learns that she’s not equipped to handle the hot, sexy Harley-riding playboy who is camping next to her.

Crash, a man whose reluctance to follow the family profession because he feels the law profession kills the spirit of a person, voices his disdain for attorneys and flaunts his rebellious lifestyle as a means of offsetting that belief. He finds himself rethinking his views when the delectable attorney, whom he nicknames Philadelphia, ends up in his campground, along with a stray puppy they name Baxter.

This is a delightful story that does a great job of blending romance and humor. If you like light-hearted tales with sexy physical attraction, steamy romance, a few calamities, and some very funny events, then this is a book you want to read.

I received a copy of this book from the author

This book is just the kind of great romantic comedy I've come to

This book is just the kind of great romantic comedy I've come to expect from this author. I was hooked from the minute she packed an uptight lawyer (B. J. Corban) into the woods and paired her with a bad boy on a Harley. The scene with the "bear" is hilarious, and so are the later "rabbit" scenes in the courtroom. What fun! I love B. J.'s sister, too, and I just couldn't wait to read Maxie's book (fourth book in series).
