There have been countless compilations covering the British Invasion, from budget-line single-disc rush jobs to exhaustive multi-volume series to box sets like Hip-O's 2004 three-disc compilation, The British Invasion: 1963-1967. While this isn't the best of the British Invasion sets released over the years -- that would be Rhino's The British Invasion:

For an incredible set of 60’s hits compiled into a 3 disc box set, the British Invasion album is definitely the place to find them. I found great songs like “Love is All Around” by The Troggs, “Wishin’ and Hopin’” by Dusty Springfield, “A Groovy Kind of Love” by The Mindbenders, and many more… These British hits are those that stay in my head and make me feel really good. Also these songs are now in selected soundtracks for popular movies and even in commercials. I enjoy the fact that I could find all these great songs in a wonderful collection.

I really, really liked this album. Of all the albums I looked through on barnesandnoble.com, this HAS to be one of my favorites!!!! :-) I found some songs I especially enjoyed: Have I the Right? by the Honeycombs, I Only Want To Be With You by Dusty Springfield, and the Troggs songs. Enjoy!
