This book knocked my socks off.

I thought it was going to be a quick, fun read...and it was. It really, really was. But it was also so much more than that. These characters came to life from the very beginning. Three-dimensional, complex, and surprising, Quinn and Emilie felt more like real people than characters in a book. Quinn is the epitome of a bad-boy--hot, closed-off, and self-centered. But despite how much of a jerk he was, I couldn't help but feel for him. After every bad move he made, I was still rooting for him. And Emilie is the type of girl I'd like to see in more books. Confident and smart, but still vulnerable and easy to connect with. Their chemistry seeped through every page and kept me reading late into the night. It's the kind of book you can't put down, because you just HAVE to know what happens next. I can. not. wait. for the next book in this series.

Well written story.  i liked the strength of Emilie and that the author allowed Quinn to be vulnerable. My only criticism is that i find the ages ofthese characters a mismatch with their emotions.  this book is written for an 18 - 20 year old audience
