I cherish this book!
My situation is completely different from the authors --i have three boys, a happy marriage and help in the house but what i got from this gem of a book is awareness to the compassion and beauty of being a mother. I have never been more inspired to BE with my kids and delight in the simple joy of preparing a meal for them. It changed the way I look at motherhood forever. Was this review helpful? More autobiographical than helpful
This book seemed too autobiographical and anecdotal to be of any help in my own journey with children. Also, there is no perspective on the joys and challenges of having more than 1 child. I think there are other books better suited to teaching how to bring Buddhist practices into our daily lives - Jack Kornfield may be a resource to consider. Was this review helpful?
