    EXCELLENT!

I've recently taken an interest in Nichiren Buddhism and this book was exactly what I was looking for. It explained how and why to practice Buddhism in an easy to understand way. This is a great book for beginners like myself. You won't be disappointed!

Beautifully executed--it captures your interest from beginning to end!

This is an exceptional guidebook for those who know nothing about Nichiren Buddhism and also for those who have practiced this philosophy and way of life for years. It explains the concepts in ways that help the reader to gain insight in a very deep way. I found myself saying, "Yes, that's exactly it!" many times. However, every page was exciting, filled with information presented in a very compelling manner--informative, intelligent, inviting. Incredible writer. I couldn't put this book down. For a seasoned practitioner, this is a good review. All the material is correct and well-researched, but presented in a personal manner. As a teacher, I value the presentation of a definition or idea in new words......and the expanding or deepening of my present knowledge. This book does that for me.

    bad commercialism of Buddhism

The writer needs to get a real job instead of trying to make money off of a truly
    wonderful philosophy
