    Great book, his best

I loved his other 2 but this is his best. He takes his great characters, great dialog and intricate plotting and ties it all together in this one. A novice investment banker stuck in an insider trading ring with the only way out to team up with the client who appears to have compromised himself by being the dealmaker as the focal point of the ring. Great stuff.

Also check out Trojan Horse and The Gravy Train, but by all means read this one.

Great Thriller in the vein of The Firm

This was my first Lender book and since then I've read Trojan Horse. I loved them both. Bull Street is a pulse-racing read that seduces you early on to like its protagonist, Richard Blum, a freshly-minted MBA who lands on Wall Street in his dream job with the hottest investment bank of his day. He learns fast, and one thing he finds out is that his firm is a massive insider trading ring. In no time the SEC is after him and so are his bosses. He has to scramble to stay alive and out of the clutches of the SEC. I saw Lender on Bloomberg TV and they called him "the Grisham of Wall Street." It's true. This is one to take for the weekend, rain or shine.

Great thriller, real dialog and settings

Great, suspenseful thriller. Builds like a piece of music until you won't stop reading. The dialog puts you in the scene and well-crafted descriptions of people and places make it all completely, sometimes frighteningly, real.

    Simply Terrific

This is a gripping read from the first page. It's a thriller that builds suspense in layers, shifting points of view and tugs at your emotions. Don't bother contemplating reviews or the setting (Wall Street), just buy it and read it.

    I loved it!

This is the 3rd of Lender's books I've read and they keep getting better. Bull Street is a tense thriller with a great romance and another wonderful story of an older man, Harold Milner, teaming up with our young hero, Richard Blum, a kid who's in way over his head. Kathy is his feisty love interest who helps teach him the ropes on Wall Street and more! Great book!
