    Sunstar's Story-Prolouge

"Skyleaf!" A orange tom with black stripes across his pelt raced into the med den, skidding to a halt in front of a mottled brown tabby se cat. "Sweetflower's kitting!" He gasped. "Oh, dear." Skyleaf jumped up. She grabbed some herbs and followed the tom to the nursery. "Every thing will be fine, Tigerfur." The medicine cat meowed before disappearing into the nursery, where yowls of pain could be heard from Tigerfur's mate, Sweetflower. Tigerfur paced nervously. All the other cats were sleeping, and he waited anxiously for his children to be born into the world. Just as the sun was rising, Skyleaf beckoned Tigerfur into the nursery with a wave of her tail. Sweetflower was sitting in her nest, happily nursing a tiny golden she cat. The kit stopped her nursing and looked up at Tigerfur with bright green eyes before suckling some more. "She's beautiful." Tigerfur purred, licking his mate's head. Sweetflower nuzzled him, a strong feeling of love for her mate and daughter filling her heart. "What will you name her?" Skyleaf asked the new parents in a whisper, smiling widley. Sweetflower looked grandly at her kit. "I name you Sunkit, for the morning sun that marked your birth." CHAPTER ONE IN NEXT RESULT!
