This book was a great Chritmas gift.

I loved reading this book. I have always like Burton films and was suprised that he started out orginally at Disney. I read the book after the first week I got it. I could not put it down. I liked the fact that it broke it down in sections based on his films. I think this would make an excellant gift for any one who is a Burton fan. A note to fellow Americans since the book is published abroad it uses England's way of spelling things such as colour instead of color. I would highly recomend this book to any one.

    Film Lovers to Film Makers

If you have ever enjoyed a movie by Tim burton, or ever had a dream to become a film maker, then this book is for your. There is no doubt in my mind that everyone who reads this will be thourally entertained. The book focuses a lot on his films, and his career as a film maker, and not so much on his life. However, don't let that drag you away from it. The book never lets up, and you will enjoy it not only one time, but many times after that. I really do recomend this title to everyone.

    A Satisfying Read

Although the book is thoroughly entertaining, I recommend it only to fans of Burton who would like to know how he works, and what makes him tick. The book chronicles everything in his career from animating at Disney to the filming of Sleepy Hollow. It is full of pictures and Burton's own unique drawings. Mark Salisbury (who also does wonderful articles for Premiere) does a great job at editing the book, and it also brings a nice foreword by Johnny Depp. About the only complaint I have is that I thought it would be more about Tim himself, and not just his films, but I cannot complain. I read the entire book in two sittings and was hungry for more.
