Business Stripped Bare: Adventures of a Global Entrepreneur

Not for me

I was hoping to get some ideas of innovative strategies to try for our business but found there was not enough substance to the stories told to uncover them. I realize this is not an "instructional" book but unfortunately I found it more boastful than inspiring. Details of success were sparse and merely illustrated by business stats (profit, number of employees, etc.) which seems to fly in exact opposition to the focus on "doing what you care about" and the focus on customers. I'm sure having a conversation with Mr. Branson would be illuminating but the book was of no value to me - not even as entertainment.

Intriging Master of Business

Richard Branson has lived a storybook life, as far I am conscerned. He detail many of his business exploits and gives perspective on how any manager can apply these interresting stratigies to their business. This book is great as a follow up to Loosing my Virginity, that relates his business objectives and gives insight to entrepanures for their business. Most enjoyable and an easy read.
