Cake Wrecks: When Professional Cakes Go Hilariously Wrong

Hilarious book!

I LOVED this book and really "got" the humor. I had gone into Barnes and Noble to sit with my husband and have coffee and just picked up this book to peruse while sitting there. I was laughing out loud after a minute. I went back later to buy it for my mother as a gift. Before I mailed it to her, however, I finished it for myself, then let my kids read it on a little road trip we took to entertain them. They are teenagers and were also laughing hysterically! Mom said she enjoyed it, but I'm sure not as much as we did. I think this is a great book to give to someone who needs some laughs in their life. I'd love to see a Cake Wrecks II!! The author is extremely funny.

Hilarious!

As a fan of the CakeWrecks blog, I pre-ordered the book. When it came in the mail, I literally read the whole thing in one sitting.
It made me laugh out loud...and made those around me look at me like I was insane. Hysterically funny. Definitely a coffee table book - and I know people have already picked up my copy and laughed out loud as well!

Great book, great gift. Heck, just great!

HIghly Recommend

For the reader with a mix of rapier wit and an appreciation of potty humor. I have purchase three of these books. One for me and two as gifts. The gifts received rave reviews from the recipient and from their friends and families. Anyhow, the book's a hoot. I blew coffee out of my nose.

Was laughing so hard that people were staring at me

This book is hysterical...just don't read it in a waiting room where others can watch you as you try to stifle your laughter...I was wiping away tears and had to put it away to recover. Have given it several times as a gift to someone with a great sense of humor. Enjoy!

Hilariously Bad Cakes

An amazing collection of horrible cakes from the popular Blogspot website of the same name. You can just picture the person taking the cake order over the phone, not understanding what they were just asked to do and just winging it. Simply incredible mistakes that make for a wonderful collection of awesomely bad cakes.

Just when you thought you had seen it all

This book is hilarious. Those people who have seen Cake Wrecks online will already be familiar with the seemingly brainless interpretations of cake decorating instructions, carried out in unbelievable ways. Anyone who has never seen these cake boo-boos are in for a side-splitting treat. While some of the photos are repeats from the website, the book has narratives by the author that go with each cake photo. I laughed at some of them so hard, I was crying. Great gift for the cake decorator in your life and anyone who just needs a good laugh.

This book is extremely entertaining and great for conversation and gift-giving. My mother loved it as did all of my friends. Excellent book.

Hilarious!

This is the portable version of the funniest blog I have ever read! I don't know what it is about messed up cakes, but everyone can enjoy this book. The author, Jen Yates, has a way with words also because her writing makes the cakes even funnier. I show this book to all of my friends. If you need a dose of laughter this book will not disappoint!

Special Occasion cakes gone wrong...

This book is hysterical....I bought one for myself and one for my daughter..It shows cakes that have been ordered for special occasions and have lost something in the interpetations...very funny...must see.

You'll laugh 'til you cry

This book is hilarious. If you enjoy decorating cakes, or even if you don't, you'll just laugh at some of the hideous cakes and bizarre mistakes made by "professional" cake decorators.

Great Fun

The family was over for Christmas and I left this out, before I had a chance to leaf through it. It was a huge hit. Hard to find the best of the worst cakes --- there were so many!!

CAKE WRECKS is hilarious!

It's a good book to leave out on the coffee table--bound to inspire conversation and comments. It's actually a little scary to see the mistakes that are made...

It'll make you giggle

I bought this book as a gift for two people and had to go back and get one for myself. Some of the pictures and commentary made me laugh so hard I cried. I'm already planning on it for birthday presents for more people

If it is true that: "We Only Learn by Making Mistakes", then we learned a lot from this book.

This was a gift, opened on the holiday... read by a number of people within a few hours,
and enjoyed by the readers, and .... by the people who heard them chuckle out loud!

My sister, my mom and I sat and read this and laughed so hard we were all crying!! I bought 5 copies to give to friends for Christmas. One of the funniest books I have ever seen.

You will die laughing

This is THE most hysterical book. I bought it as a gift for my sister who loves baking and decided to flip through it before I wrapped it. I was laughing out loud. You will not be disappointed. Perfect for bakers and cake lovers!

Cute Book, funny blurbs and funnier pictures. Love the website, hit it everyday and a lot of the stuff in the book wasn't on the site.
