overlooked third album, get it before it goes out of stock!

this is lisa loeb's third record, but it was quickly eclipsed when she left A&R records, signed with Artemis and released "Hello Lisa," which is basically this album minus a few songs and with a few added ones. that's a shame because in my opinion, this is is one of her best records. some of the best songs include "someone you should know," which has an awesome music video "look it up on youtube", "bring me up," and "the way it really is." she hits on some heavy subjects on this album, such as on the closer track, "she's falling apart," about a girl with an eating disorder. this is a wonderful album by a great artist, get it before it goes out of stock and becomes a rarity!

You Get Back Whatever You Put In.

Thats why I've always loved Lisa Loeb. For Romantics, you'll find that listening to her music is like taking an anti-biotic for your soul. She hits the nail on the head everytime. Just listening to ''Way it really is'' reminds me of myself, the words in the chorus eerily similiar to things I've said to my own girlfriend. At first, I considerd this album to be somewhere between Firecracker and Tails, but after my 5th or so listen, I finally unraveled the meanings of each tune, and I must say, this is by far her best work.

    Lisa Loeb does it again!!

I'm always worried when I buy a long awaited new relese from a musician I enjoy. Too often I find that the result is a bland re-hash of previous releases that try to mimic an earlier hit without adding anything origional. I'm happy to say that this is NOT the case with Lisa's new album ''Cake and Pie''. The entire album is enjoyable on the first listening, and only gets better the more you hear it. The songs are catchy, intelligently written, and easy to get stuck in your head. I strongly reccomend it!

    Worth the wait

Lisa's long awaited follow-up to Firecracker is amazing! Her new album follow in the classic Lisa style with a few updates. The songs are vibrant and with her voice pull you in. This is one of her best albums yet! This is one album not too miss!
