Could be better
Disapointing. Very hard to navigate keeps freezing. Needs to include things like coffee and stuff .. should be easier to add thinngs to your tracker. Has potential but needs more

An interesting app. More for whats been left out, than for whats been included.
This app is divided into 3 parts:
1) An exercize / calories burned app
2) A food / calories consumed app
3) A Caloric Diary that allows you to keep track of it all.
If the amount of work put into each part was near the same, it could be a very nice app, but even within it's different parts the quality is not the same.
The Exercise Part:
1) Selection: Excellent
This is the part that had the most work put into it. There are, I believe, THOUSANDS of different exercizes to choose from. I know it took me over a minute to scroll through the entire collection. The only drawback I can see is an inability to search for specific exercises, meaning that if you are going walking, you've got one heck of a scroll to look forward to.
2) Diary Entry: Poor
Compared to the helpful, if obnoxiously long, list of exercises entering your calculated caloric use is also obnoxious. Rather than providing a button that automatically enters your calories burned into the diary, you must enter it manually. A really odd choice on the programmer's part.
The Food part:
1) Selection: Worse than Poor, it's Pitiful
First everything is divided between country / region.
Second, the USA has aparently less than 50 dishes, which jumps from the 'B's to the 'W's (whole wheat something-or-other), with only 5 dishes in between.
Notably we apparently don't have any 'H' foods in the US, so both Hotdogs and Hamburgers out. Luckily they play a minor role in the American diet, right?
2) The Diary: Excellent
Just as the selection is so poor, the Data Entry of the calories you've consumed IS just a button push away, and your calories consumed is already in the diary. I don't understand why it is included on one side of the app, and not on the orher.
The Diary Part: I really don't know, and at this point don't care. I've seen an empty chart, so I assume that it's a graphical representation of a year, possibly down to weeks.
It's sad, but with the quality of the food part of the app so low, I totally lost interest in the diary. I mean, if you can't enter the foods you eat, I don't see the point of tracking consumption vs. burning.
Conclusion: It's sad to say, but I'd have given this app 4 stars if it had just left out the food part of the app, and maybe the diary too. I suspect that the publisher / programmer just took on too big a project and either ran out of time, or money, or interest.
As it stands, in my opinion, this app is only 1/3 complete, and so that's the rating I give it. I'd give it 1 and 3/4 stars if I could. You don't get extra points for doing such a fine job on only part of a highly flawed app.
My reccomendation for the publisher, rework the app. Focus on providing more foods, and the ability to ADD foods, and possibly exercises. Remove the Regions. People, especially in the US, eat food from all over the world, if for no other reason than we came from all over the world. And make data entry into the diary one-click, unless they need to change the date.
In fact, your best bet may be to just remove the diary and caloric consumption parts and release it as just an exercise app.
