The reader is the main character in this choose-your-own-ending novel! You are a junior camp counselor trying to decide who to go to the dances and parties with. There are a lot of different ways that you can read this book, because there are over twenty endings! So that keeps you interested, and if you don¿t like how things turn out, you can go back and change it. It¿s like you help write the story! There wasn¿t as much romance as I would have liked for the book, and some scenes seem a little immature, but this would be the perfect book for a younger teen. **Reviewed by: Taylor Rector

I was really happy to find a book for my 11-year-old daughter that wasn't about drugs and sex. I'm not old- fashioned, but I can't take those series that her friends are reading, I picked up one of them and wrote a letter to the book publisher, something I have never done. This series (we've only read the first book) is about boys and dating but talks more about making the 'right' decisions in dating, and not being too loose with boys. I also liked that it focuses on the emotional side of relationships for girls, not just on the physical, and covers some friendship issues. A great read for a middle-grader, especially for summer, we're looking forward to the other books in this series. Thank you to the publisher for thinking about the audience, for once, and not just trying to sell books!
