As a breast cancer patient and one who believes in holistic medicine, I found this book to be a wonderful resource. There is so much information available today that it is very easy to get overwhelmed and frustrated. Mr. Bollinger formats much of that information in a way that allows a person to better understand the many options and claims and gives many resources to further investigate. I also appreciate that his motivation is heart driven and not greed in that he had several close family members pass away due to cancer. The previous reviews have been specific and precise, in my opinion, so I don't think there is a need to reiterate them, but I do want to say that I agree with them.

Unless the sufferer is determined to turn their back on traditional medicine and embrace alternative treatments, this book will only scare the cr*p out of them. Seriously. Maybe the author is right, maybe not. I'm not qualified to say, and I certainly am not comfortable advising my mother to cease treatment based on this one book. So now I'm frightened about her cancer specialist's treatment plan, and too frightened to take the responsibility of convincing her to get off it. If I were the patient and I didn't want traditional treatment, I'd be glad I read the book. As a loved one of a patient, I'm sorry I ever picked it up. Plus, I can't eat my favored snack edamame anymore since apparently soy will kill me. Sigh.

I have read and studied alternative medicine for all of my adult life and I am age 57. Ty's book is one of the best written books I have ever read. He keeps it simple and it rings of truth. I had to watch my mother and brother die of cancer and I can tell you that traditional treatments don't work on many cancers yet the doctors and hospitals still take your money and what ever remaining health you have left...

I don't believe in conspiracies so I doubt if big pharma is suppressing cures especially when you consider everyone has at least one very close friend or relative with cancer.
