Urban erotica at it's best!

I LOVE this book!!! I do not reread books once I have read them, but I have read this book twice. I am not into love stories... I love the gritty hood love tales and this is definitely one of those stories!!! Loved it!

GOOD LAWD!!!

this was one of the best books ive read!! it was sooo brutal annd vicious!! i was pulled in by the story!! i thought deadly reigns was bad...it aint got sh-- on candylicker!!

Moving Past the Past

This urban erotic tale toys around with many themes: domestic abuse on all fronts, physical, mental and emotional; sexual indiscretions; family loyalty, and the underlying theme of unconditional love between two people who share similar pasts. A decent enough storyline that ties all the characters and events together in a plot that makes for one turbulent and exhilarating read. I recommend this book to all who enjoy a well written novel, with narrators in both first and third person in an effort to deliver a story that reels you into the lives of "I can relate" to characters. Introspectively speaking, Candy represents women who are beautiful inside and out; pregnant with the deep desire to be successful and find a man who can love them right sexually, and Knowledge, represents the many men out there who do know how treat a lady, using his strength to protect her, his intellect to guide her and his love to make her feel special. Candy Licker is a great read and Noire has become one of my favorite authors.

It was good but kind of predictable

GOOD

This book was a little different from most of the books I read but it was one of the best books i've read. It was a good story, the type of story that you just can't wait to find out what will happen in the end. It was raw and straight up street.

Now i know people said G-spot was good but i think this was either just as good or even better. the book was so good i started to write a review before i was even done. if u read g-spot then u definitely want to read this. im sad the book ended.

This was a good book.

I have been a fan of Noire for some time and this book was good in the sense that it kept your attention. However, there were so many unanswered questions, in classic Noire fashion, I am sure there is a "Candy Sequel" in the making. So I gave the book only a 2 star rating only because this book screams for a sequel, I would be very surprised if there wasn't one. All and all it was a quick read with several twists and turns, I would recommend this book.

Finished it in less than a week!

This was a good book, not as good as G-spot but very interesting. It is a page turner and will keep you wondering what will happen next. The characters are somewhat similar to G-spot, so it kind of felt like "been there, done that" but it is still better than a lot of stuff out there.

I just got done reading this book and i couldnt put it down. It really open my eyes to what can really happen out there. but i also read g spot and i loved both of these books.

Great Read

This is the first book I've read by Noire, and this book I truly could not put down. I was so intrigued and blown away by this story, so I recommended it to all of my reading girlfriends and they were not disappointed either. It definately makes you want to keep a closer eye on our daughters to make sure they don't end up in the types of situations.

I never enjoyed reading books util i cam across Candy Licker. This book blew me away... it was very interesting reading this book. I would read any book written by Noire...
