I read the inside cover of this book and it sounded very interesting so I thought I would get it. The premise of the book is unusual in that you don't know if an actual crime has been committed and they are interesting characters but my criticism would be twofold. One, the author interjects characters that aren't introduced very well. For instance, the lead character, Meg, is playing skeeball in an arcade and and Hank has her get away from a bad character but you have no idea that a bad character is even there. I reread the same passage several times and still didn't get that Meg was talking to a bad character. And, two, in some parts, the writing seems very novice-like. There are setting issues that make it difficult to follow the storyline in parts. It is not a book I would recommend but I am interested to see how it ends.
