Capsule of Hope is a great book to give to caregivers to help them on their journey.

As a pastor I am always looking for good books to give to others who need encouragement or help of some kind. Capsules of Hope Survival Guide is written in such a loving, helpful manner and has proven to be an effective tool of encouragment and knowledge for people who are the caregivers. Each person who has received this book from me thanks me over and over because it helped them so much. Ms. Crawford's book is well written, easy to read and put into practical use, and it is a book that brings huge smiles, giggles, and also some tears. An easy read, I highly recommend this book.

    Caregivers of the world, unite!

Kat Crawford's book is more than a memoir of her husband's illness. It is a story of her undaunted courage and tenacity. When the doctors said, "No hope," she went to work. Found specialists. Encouraged husband. Enlisted friends who prayed. By God's grace and healing power and Kat's determined treatment, her husband lived. The book is well written. The story moves. Her suggestions for caregivers are excellent. A useful feature is a glossary of medical terms. It is hard to read this book without realizing that an informed patient and family gets a better outcome than someone who becomes a bystander for his own demise.

Hope: In Big and Small Doses

In Capsules of Hope, Kat Crawford invites you into her life, and with honesty and humor she shares a story that every caregiver should read. When her husband, Gary, is diagnosed with a rare cancer, they both step into an alternate universe of confusing diagnoses, endless doctor and ER visits, and more than one dire prognosis. Kat triumphs and becomes the Lionhearted, roaring her way over medical hurdles to take care of her special guy. Through the inevitable ups and downs of fighting cancer, Kat managed to journal and compile private moments. In this book she shares those moments with the reader and also provides practical tips and resources for the caregiver. --Jamie Fear, Cancer Survivor
