    Awesome book for soccer fans

John Harkes' greatness is shown through this book, from his days in Kearny to his times in the MLS and World Cup. A must have book for soccer players.

    Wonderfully written book!

This book tells John's story well. It goes from his beginnings in New Jersey to his MLS years with DC United. It also tells of his times in England and with the US National Team and the World Cups. I loved every moment of the book.

    For a True soccer fan

I myself was a captain of my soccer team and have always viewed John as a my favoite player. He tells you many things that you never knew about how soccer works and what its like at the next level. He shows you how some pivital decisions in his life are all related to soccer. How he sometimes wonders if he made the right choice and how its important that you have a good group of friends for support in your decisions. I myslef loved the book and read it in two days. I found myself relating to him and in my mind watching the games as he described them. It was great and made me miss soccer more than i have before. READ IT!!!
