    A good, easy read.

    I LOVED this book 30 years ago, as it was pretty racy at that time. After rereading it was still very good, but not fabulous like I remembered it to be. If you're a staunch Catholic, who won't admit to any wrongdoing in the church, this book is NOT for you. If you enjoy scandal and flawed characters, then go for it. Being that the author is a priest, I have a feeling that he took what he knew to be fact and turned it into fiction.
