A must for Cardmakers
This is a great book for all card makers. All in all there's something in here for card makers at all levels. I like the way it discusses major color principles and theories, it helped me put together colors I wouldn't have thought to put together before. It also gives 'Designer Swatches' and then shows a couple of different cards created with those colors, which is great for new ideas. I love the 'Designer Model' cards, they look so complicated, but Jenn breaks them down step by step so they will be easy to re-create. She also gives tips on how to simplify design for those 50 Holiday cards or party invitations you need to make. Not only does it showcase some beautiful cards, there are also helpful reasons to send cards, 'Sorry about your splinter' is definitely deserving of a card, and not one I would have thought about before...lol...

A great start!
This is such an exellent book especially if you are new to card making! Ms Mason discusses the basics and even go into detail about caard structure, color usage and even provides sample phrases for your cards. I love the every subject she covers provides detailed images and steps on how to make them! Lastly the examples she uses are gorgeous cards that look very high quality, and it's great because you can learn how to make them to (including the envelope!) I enjoyed this book and found it a worthy investment. Its a lenghtly book that I consider my Card Making "bible". Now I wish I found this book sooner on the Nook shop before spending money on some of the crappy card making books out there. Overall: I HIGHLY RECOMMED THIS for beginners and experts fine tuning their craft. :)

Too simple
There is nothing extra ordinary with this book. This is for beginners only . The cards are not even cute. I sm so sorry i paid for this.
