    An Exciting Thriller!

I was given the opportunity to review Cards of Sin to read and review.
I have been expanding my reading genres lately because of all the great book tours available from all these wonderful writers! Cards of Sin was definitely out of my comfort zone as a murder-mystery usually wouldn't be my type of reading.
I was surprised however, by the author's sharp writing and ability to engross me in the story - even if it creeped me out a little!
I found it hard to put down and kept wanting to know what would happen next - what would be the next part of the story? Who would the psycho target next and what sort of card combination would he use? I found that part of the book very engrossing - I won't go into much detail and spoil anything, but will say that it is an awesome idea!
Dahlen's writing style puts you in the mind of the main character, Cheyenne, and allows you to feel as if you're reading your best friends diary - I actually felt her nervousness, fear and anger as the story unfolded!
I was happy to expand my reader horizons and read it!
