This is one of my favorite books. A young woman who is psychic returns home to find answers concerning the murder/rape of her friend when she was a child. She discovers that the murderer has continued to rape and murder on the anniversary of the death of her friend. This books has suspense, romance and a very good ending. I am so happy it is in ebk form so I can have it available anytime.

Nora Roberts description of Carolina and her character development of Tory is wonderful. Her plot line is intriguing and she has a way with her words that keeps you turning the pages. But I hated the fact she followed the same formula that she did in Sanctuary and I knew who the killer was in the middle of the story which is quite disappointing. The ending was a farce it seemed as if she was sick of writing the book and her only objective was to introduce the real killer. I would say she started of very good and ended up ruining what I might have considered to be one of her greater novels.
