    Can You Hear Him Now?

If ever there is a metaphor for 21st Century spirituality it is the cell phone. When God calls, do we have the ringer on low volume? Do we let his call just go into voice mail? Or do we eagerly answer his call and move to a place where good reception is assured? Do we ever call God? Who is most likely to take the call--God or us? This little book is an easy, inspiring read that will leave a lasting impression. Once you read it you will think of it whenever your cell phone rings. It makes a perfect gift or study guide for small groups exploring Christian spirituality.

    Your Cell Is Ringing

I found this book to be unique inasmuch as it should appeal to those searching for spirituality and to those who already think they have it. The theme of calling up God, and being on the alert to answer a call, was an interest- ing aspect throughout the book. Goodrich covered all aspects of how to gain a religious life and keeps it interesting with personal examples.
