Had to force myself to finish this book.

I really liked the new series that Christina Dodd came out with. The first book was not so great, Caleb was too overbearing for my taste and Jacqueline did not fight hard enough. The second book was great!!!! I loved the characters, the interaction of the chosen ones together, etc. It was funny and an interesting read. Rosamund was strong and funny and Aaron was sensitive and strong. This book, Chains of Ice, yuck! I have to force myself to finish it so that I can read the next installment. Dodd spent too much time, 294 pages, describing scenery and mountians, which are nice, but it was much and not enough time was spent on the team of the chosen. Genny is a wimp, not strong at all and the whole forced sex thing in the waterfall, give me a break. I cannot relate to the hero at all. The author did not create anyone who seemed to be suffering and islotaing himself from the public, not if he stalked women and kidnapped them to have sex with. How could someone like that be suffering? Abstaining from that would have been better. I will be glad to finish this book and I look forward to Samuel and Isabelle's story. Those characters have personality.
