This story started with a bang and had me racing through the story to see who Beth ends up with. Mixing humor with relatable small town charm, we're introduce to a fun set of characters, each with their own problems to solve. But most importantly, we have Beth who wants nothing more than to marry her sweetheart and fiance, Oz, and start a family, only to have Oz hit the breaks when he looks around and realizes he's living the life his father wanted for him-- not the one he wants for himself. Only problem is he doesn't have a clue what that life should look like. Beth is happy to help him find his way, but one circumstance after another pulls them apart

Enter Nash, a handsome city slicker doc who's there for Beth when she needs someone to talk to. He seems like a safe bet since he's repeatedly stated that he could never fall for a country-bumpkin, and Beth knows she fits that description to a T. After all, she's waiting for Oz to find his way back to her arms and Nash is just a friend who's seen his share of heartache and gets what she's going through. Yet fate has other plans-- for all of them.

This was a fun light read, with laugh out loud moments, and then other parts that really tugged at your heart strings. Highly recommend. The perfect beach or bath tub read.

This heroine is no heroine, she is an old dish rag, wrung out, used up, no starch.

I skipped about 100 pages just to get to the end and be able to say I finished it. My recomendation, don't read. I gave it three stars because it was nicely edited, had a plot and had an actual ending. I am not say the plot and ending were good, just that they existed. Some of the books I have read lately had none of those.

Thirteen months ago, Beth's life changed as she watched her lifelong dream go out the window. Can she make her
boyfriend wake up or has she lost him for good? Add a new boyfriend makes for a love triangle that at times is unbelievable; but made for an enjoyable read.

Champagne and Lemon Drops brings us Beth who is torn between loving two men (we should all have such problems). She is engaged to Oz but he wants to take a break to find himself. She is devastated but quickly starts dating Nash who is a doctor that has come to her small town for a short time. Then she becomes engaged to him. This story takes place in the small town of Blueberry Springs where everyone knows everybody else and what they are doing at all times.

I couldn't connect with the characters in this book. I really, really didn't like Beth and thought she was selfish.  She loved two men and I couldn't see how she got engaged to Nash if she still loved Oz. Oz was just a mixed up mess but I liked Nash - just not for Beth.

I am giving this 2.5 stars.

This is a cute romantic story; however, I found some parts a little dull. Let's just say: I'm happy this book was free.

    Okay but lacking

Don't know why someone would write about such a weak character. I prefer strong confident people.

    Mehh

It was an ok book. I wish she had told us what happened with Nash though. And for this reason I didn't like the ending.

    Good read

The lead female was very whiny throughout the book makes you want to reach through the book and slap her tell her to put her big girl panties on and grow up but still the book makes it so you want to know how it ends
