Quite simply, Rob McClure is Chaplin.  Either he was born to play this part or he is just that good.  I saw the live show at the Barrymore and then bought the CD.  Both were excellent.  Rob McClure is a future superstar of stage and screen.  The actors, including the child actors,  were well-cast and did an outstanding job.  The show opens with McClure on the high wire and then gets even better from there.  The CD is true to  the show, although shortened.  CD track 17 is McClure's moment and he makes the most of it.  Sadly the show had a short Broadway run, but will live again on the road.  The show and the CD are not to be missed.
