This was pretty good
I'ms a big fan of Miasha and she delivered with this one as weell. I 've always liked the edgy plots in her novels.

Caught Up
Over the past few years Leah's relationship with her boyfriend, Kenny, has been crumbling. The one thing that she once admired about him, his ability to hustle and the lifestyle it provided, is now taking its toll. If it's not one hustle, it's another and his latest hustle involved Leah. It also involved her arrest. Sitting in jail definitely can change one's perspective on things. Now realizing Kenny means her no good, she agrees to become an informant for the police. As the days pass and Kenny's temperament only gets worse, Leah wonders if it's all worth it. The only thing of late that brings a smile to her face is Nasir, Kenny's friend. As Leah finds herself waist deep in deception, she doesn't know which situation is more explosive - snitching on Kenny or cheating on Kenny. Either way, an explosion is impending.

"Chaser" is a satisfying read. The glimpse into the world of chasing was interesting. Miasha does a good job conveying Leah's emotional turmoil as she struggled with her decisions and their consequences. I'd recommend "Chaser" to anyone looking for a quick and entertaining read.
