A Comfort for Busy Moms
I am a mother of two small ones and always on the go. At the end of the day, I'm exhausted and barely have time to read before I fall asleep. The stories in this book are short and speak to this time in my life when I'm juggling so much and trying to maintain sanity. I look forward to those 2-3 pages each night. It's very comforting and I go to sleep feeling like I have made a connection with someone who understands what I'm going through. This is a great book for moms to give themselves and to share with other moms.

Power Moms have my respect
Anyone who considers being a stay-at-home or work-from-home mom (or dad) should read this book. I already admire this dedicated group, like novelist Jane Green, actress Melora Hardin and Maternity Clothes business woman, Liz Lange. Yet, the stories give more insight than just being around the home. There is the on-going discipline of separating work from children, of keeping physically fit, of persistence and enduring the looks from people when you might explain that your "job" is an at-home mom, stay-at-home-dad or unpublished author. I especially enjoyed Mama Esta Trabajando. (Work at home is not being at home.) A nice collection of heart, hope and humor. --Doug Setter, BSc.Was this review helpful?
