Diversity and Continuity Inter-twined
It is rare to have so much diversity and yet smooth transition and continuity on one album. If you love Nora Jones, Eva Cassidy, Cathie Ryan, Karen Casey, Lisa Hannigan, Emmylou Harris, or Sheryl Crow, you'll find elements of each in the styles painted into this canvas. Patty Griffin can't be labeled as any single music style, but she has a gift to create what MUSIC is supposed to sound like. Rich, Warm, Soothing but never boring or monotonous, like the warm calm you don't appreciate unless you ride out the storm! I love "HEAVENLY DAY"! Patty Griffin is equally talented as singer and song-writer. Outstanding Album!

Amazing Album
by one of our greatest living singer-songwriters today. It may take a few spins for the greatness of this album to sink in but it will stay with you for a long time.

The best album Cheryl Crow never made.
And I mean that in the best way possible. S.C. would kill to make an album as alternately warm and powerful. When Griffin is on a soft ballad her voice wraps you up like a blanket, and when she fires on all cylinders its like a freight train charging down the track.
