    Cisco

From my research I undoubtedly come to the conclusion that if you're wanting to succeed in Networking that Cisco by far is the way to go. I'm taking my CCENT again in a couple days(I've aken 3 times alread), and last time I recieved a score of 750. I feel very confidant in my exp. And knowledge. I wish everoneelse the best of luck, and believe that this product would be of great help to those who really desire to have a lot of knowledge and test it.

Are you planning on taking the Cisco 100-101 ICND1 exam? If you

Are you planning on taking the Cisco 100-101 ICND1 exam? If you are, then this book is for you! Author Eric Rivard, has done an outstanding job of writing a book that uses flash cards to pass the 100-101 ICND1 exam.

Author Rivard, begins by reviewing the foundational functions of networking, including the OSI model and the TCP/IP model. Then, the author provides an overview of LAN technologies; as well as, Cisco IOS features, enhanced IOS editing commands, and basic Cisco router and switch configuration.  He continues by covering the fundamentals of Ethernet technologies and describes how switches operate. Then, the author focuses on IPv4 addresses. He then covers the most basic terminology of routing and introduces you to the basic of static routing and configuring a Cisco router with basic IP information. Next, the author breaks down access lists and covers the required access control list topics you will see on the ICND exam. The author continues by providing an overview on how to connect to the Internet for a small business. Then, he covers the fundamentals for securing Cisco network devices. Next, the author covers the basics of VLANs and describes how to configure VLANs and trunk links on a Cisco Catalyst 2960 Series switch. He also introduces you to dynamic routing protocols and the concepts behind how they function. The author continues by giving a broad description of Open Shortest Path First, which was developed by the Internet Engineering Task Force to resolve the problems associated with the Routing Information Protocol. Finally, he discusses why IPv6 is the future of IP communications.

This most excellent book focuses on how flash cards in this pack serve as a final preparation tool for the CCENT exam. In fact, the flash cards in this great book work best when used in conjunction with official study aids for the CCENT exam.
