    A Good book

This book was good. If you hate the parts where it switches from person to person well get used to it. The next three books do the same thing. I liked this book because it had action but was also mysterious.

City of Golden Shadow - Hard to Engage

I found this title difficult to engage in. There is a lot of character and plot development that is essential to the rest of the series but makes the first half of this book difficult to read. When i completed it I had to get the next one in the series. It is recommended because the rest of the series is outstanding.

    Good

This book was good but a bit slow at times. I am on the 3rd book of the Quartet and so far I think the 2nd was best. In the 1st one, I didn't understand why Williams kept jumping from one person to the other and what their significance to the story was. But by the 2nd one I knew and it just keeps getting better and better now. The first one is just setting the foundation for the story and once you hit the second, that's when all the action starts happening. So don't despair! It gets really good!

    15 year old bookworm

a very nice book. it starts when the heroine's (whose name is Renie) brother falls into a coma. the doctors see no logical reason. and renie comes to see that the same story as her brother is repeating itselff with many other children. what the cause? the net. (which is sort of like our internet, only much morre high tech) she gets into researching it. and all the books are pretty much following her along that journey to rescue her brother. an extra fun bonus for reading this book is all the slang they use. tad williams made up his own. like: chizz-cool, duppong-liying. and there are all these great lines that u just love. there are sertain characters for which i just can't wait for them to talk. the book doesn't have much of an ending, and the second one doesn't have much of a better one. but by the forth one, it all fits together. i love this series. and i say, give it a try. it's quite cool realy, cause, overall, it looks like a rather long book, there should be a whole story in there, but once u finish the book u realise, all you've read is the first chapter.

I have been reading the Otherland series.

I found the Otherland books very interesting and could not put them down once I began to read them. My favorite was Otherland: City of Golden Shadow. I eagerly await the new Otherland: Sea of Silver Light. Keep up the good work Tad!

be ready to read them all

I enjoyed this book quite a bit but it really doesn't end it just stops. I started reading the next one and I was glad I did but it appears it will just stop also. Fine by me since this is great read and it should be fun. But make sure you are in for the long haul!
