    WOW!!!

If you just bought your first Civic and got motivated to play with it; this is the book for you. Exactly what I was looking for! Doesn't get too indepth on the interworkings of the inline 4, which would have been helpfull when it discusses engine building. A must for all beginers!!! Also seemed like it would be a nice guide for experienced gear heads. It shows some nice ways to save money, gives average HP gains for popular mods and continualy reminds the reader of the basics of performance. This book was well worth the price paid!!!

The Ultimate Guide to Street Hondas

I bought this book for my boyfriend last Christmas and he read it cover-to-cover right away. When I got my new Honda Civic last week, I picked up this book and read it in a day. This book is incredibly easy to understand and helps you determine which modifications you want or need to trick out your Honda. I went from having trouble finding the dipstick to telling my boyfriend I need a mandrel bent, long pipe, cold air induction system to improve my fuel efficiency and increase horsepower. In the book, performance is considered superior to appearance, but appearance enhancements are discussed in detail as well. I have a new Civic, so it¿s not cost-effective to trick it out yet, but this book definitely gave me some great ideas on what I can do once the car is a few years old and I start to get bored with it. The book helped my boyfriend decide which model used Civic he wants to buy, which Accura Integra engine he wants to put in it, and how to build the car of his dreams without making any really expensive mistakes.
