I used to think that Clark Howard was stingy, but have realized that I was wrong. The main idea is to save more money than one spends, which means living below one's means rather than within them. One accomplishes this feat by getting the same services and goods in life for a fraction of the usual cost. My wife and I have utilized his teachings to save thousands of dollars. We stopped borrowing money and paid for a good used car, saved money on our unlimited cell phone calling plans for our business, saved on eyeglasses, and much more. This book and my wife helped me realize that I, like most people, have wasted a lot of money over the years. I was able to stop being wasteful and now have savings instead of living from paycheck to paycheck. I recommend this book highly. It will change your life for the better. May God bless you with all of your endeavors.

    Loved it.

I love this book. Clark is so full of helpful information & resources. I have spent useless hours on computer looking for helpful websites. Clarks book has more than i ever imagined plus they are all legitimate. He even has a list of websites he,s used previously that has been canned. It's really a great book. Since this one i have bought more. Keep them coming Clark.

    I Also Recommend:

    Clark Howard is my hero!

I started listening to Clark's radio show 7 years ago, when I was 23 and had my first real job. If I had not found him, I am sure I would be in a totally different financial position today. I maxed out my retirement savings, and I am just not looking a my balances these days, because Clark has taught me that I am "buying low" and I don't need the money for a long time.

This book is filled with great advice. I haven't read all of the tips yet, because I will use it as a guide whenever I go to make a purchase. I have already cut some of my bills down with the gems in this book, and I am determined to keep my lifestyle where it is (comfortable) even when I make more money.

Thank you Clark for sharing what you know with the rest of us!!!!
