Be brave and dare to save

I used to think that Clark Howard was stingy, but have realized that I was wrong. The main idea is to save more money than one spends, which means living below one's means rather than within them. One accomplishes this feat by getting the same services and goods in life for a fraction of the usual cost. My wife and I have utilized his teachings to save thousands of dollars. We stopped borrowing money and paid for a good used car, saved money on our unlimited cell phone calling plans for our business, saved on eyeglasses, and much more. This book and my wife helped me realize that I, like most people, have wasted a lot of money over the years. I was able to stop being wasteful and now have savings instead of living from paycheck to paycheck. I recommend this book highly. It will change your life for the better. May God bless you with all of your endeavors.

Not long ago being a cheapskate was a bad label, but America's number one cheapskate Clark Howard has made being frugal fashionable. He has become a self-made millionaire and knows a thing or two about money.
Already a successful talk show host, entrepreneur, and author, Howard has captured his best tips in his latest work: Clark Howard's Living Large in Lean Times: 250 + Ways to Buy Smarter, Spend Smarter and Save Money.

This easy format book gives you insight into painless ways to cut corners without sacrificing quality. With the great recession has come a new awareness of the art of stretching the dollar farther.
Some quick tips include: check online if money is due to you from banks, insurance, or government at Missingmoney dot com. Get rid of your phone land line which will save you instantly hundreds a year. Discover how to lower your student loan payments and raise your insurance deductible.

The sections are divided into broad sections and with feedback letters from listeners and Clark's random thoughts. An ideal reference guide for any library.

As Clark promotes that "wealth is not out of reach- in fact, it can be attainable." Clark Howard's Living Large in Lean Times: 250 + Ways to Buy Smarter, Spend Smarter and Save Money provides a clear path to financial freedom by sharing insight into how manageable steps can be taken to save money.

So move away from the humdrum of living day to day and begin a journey on living large in lead times.
