Accurately shows the relationships between sisters and how sometimes we struggle in school.
Poor Claudia!! She has her "perfect" sister's footsteps to follow. However, Janine secretly wishes she could be more artsy and carefree like Claudia. This is a very realistic story of how sisters interact.

When I was a tween I read the entire Babysitters Club series. I learned how to deal with all kinds of problem children, crazy things that can occur while babysitting, and how to be more organized. The Babysitters Club taught me all about "Kid Kits" and accurately show how girls interact with each other.
The characters and their situations are very realistic. The family settings mirror your own. The girls are totally likeable and it is amazing to me that the author could come up with all kinds of scenarios. These books inspired me when I was learning to babysit. -
