I read the first book and loved it, but this book was horrible. I don't understand why everyone sits back as this guy rapes her and makes her feel guilty about the relationship ending when he initiated it! And was in bed with another chick the same night! And it was complete bull that she went running back to him the minute he wagged his finger. She seemed to get strong in the first book but the main character just went completely stupid in the next book.

    Violent but a good read

I awaited this book since I read Talons (which you need to read first if you want to know what is going on) and I must admist I found this quite violent. The first 200 pages were more like a rape-a-thon and got away from the storyline. I guess I'm more the romantic and was hoping things would surface between Vivvie and Ty again. I found Eli even more arrogent and found myself hating him. This aside, the book is really worth reading. This author is talented and takes you into a shapeshifter's world where you can hardly wait to turn the page to see what happens next.

I enjoyed these books. Can't wait for the last in the trilogy so I can see how this ends.
