Clouded Rainbow is a story that sneaks up on you, and then grabs you without letting go. Mr. Sturak has created a vivid universe equal to a Gotham City filled with even more vivid characters. We follow our hero, Roger Belkin, on a journey into the unknown and we never leave his side. This is a mix of a romance story and a thriller with even a bit of a gumshoe element as we follow Detective Cleveland. This novel has left me with a lasting impression. This needs to be made into a movie!

The plot of this book is a little worn but decent enough tkeep me reading. Unfortunately the writing is such that reading becomes quickly unbearable. The writer seems enamored ohis own ability to put words together which means that a probably enjoyable short story turns into a chore of a novel. The characters are one dimensional at their largest depth and so boring that you find yourself rooting against all of them. A very sophmoric effort at a novel. Next time try to remember what Bill Shakespeare said: "Brevity is the soul of wit."

    Pretty good book

This book was pretty good, but it was not a gripping novel that I felt like I had to couldn't put down. The ending was unexpected and a little disappointing.

Enjoyable story with fair character development

The author's forte frolm page 1 is detailed, vivid description. The main characters are fairly developed. It's a cozy thriller lacking gratuitous violence and sex. The plor finale is ovee the top and somenwhat unbelievable

    Clouded Rainbow

Roger and his wife Lois are on their way home from their anniversary date when an awful accident changes their lives completely. An interesting story of one man's desperate attempt to find his wife.

    Mudkit

Ok. Thanks.)) He pounces on a leaf but the wind picks it up and blows it further away. Mudkit bounces after it. He crouches, his tail swishing and springs at the leaf. He catches it and looks around proudly. "I caught a leaf!," he tells everyone exitedly.

A frutrating story of unbelievable complications

The story DID keep my attention as the plot continued to play out, but often it was like reading a story written by a jr. Higher. The writer belabored a few issues, and added a few snickering juvenile type males in a few different venues which I felt were unnecessary to the story line.
Roger's adventure got more bizare as it went along and the predictable and maddening ending was a bit much.
Very wordy, but with more practice this author has potential.

    Stiff writing with robotic characters

At first it read almost like science fiction...the characters were weird, stiff and boring. The use of 'tractor-trailer' as descriptive became tiresome and the ending was predictable. It could have been so much better.
