A reviewer
Cold Skin captured the feelings of isolation and fear perfectly as the unnamed narrator and an insane hermit named Gruner fend off seemingly endless waves of horrific amphibious creatures that emerge from the sea in the night. Set on a remote Arctic island, no escape seems possible and the tension felt by our human protagonists feels quite real. I give this book my highest recommendation.
