4.5 Stars!! Collide is Freaking Phenomenal!

I'm so glad that this was the book to start off my 2013! I love the way Gail McHugh writes! Her prose is so smooth, the story flowed seamlessly. I think one of my favorite things about this book was the fact that there was so much raw emotion that bled from its pages.

Emily: Her character developed beautifully. Broken, but hanging on to the things she holds dear. Her boyfriend, her sister, her best-friend Olivia, and her boyfriend Dillon. Things seem to be coming together, until.....(enter incredibly, painfully gorgeous, dreamy, fu*kable, amazing, charming Gavin.)

Gavin: Like seriously... where is the machine that turns our book boyfriends into flesh because I am completely head over heels in love with this delectable dude! Gavin Blake is just ...Wow! They way he loves is stunning. The things that he makes Emily feel *sigh*....Fate definitely had a good time with these two, and it will have you holding your breath, jaw dropping to the floor, and smiling like a fool!

Collide is the total package, steamy, fun, and a little heart-wrenching. Gail does a wonderful job at making you feel like you are part of everything that's going on throughout the whole book. By the end, if you don't already feel like you know the characters personally, you may need to re-read it 'cause you definitely missed something. Her characters are as real as they come.

I want to warn fellow readers to wait until the second or third books comes out. If you are like me and want to read a book that has an ending and not wait months for it then wait for the whole series to come out. The story line was okay but Emily drove me crazy i hope she grows a backbone in the next book.. I wish this trend of writing books in three parts would end:(

    Cliffhanger alert

I purchased this a few weeks ago and when I started to read it, didn't recheck reviews. Wait for the other stories to come out. If you like closure in a book, you aren't getting it here. Feels like a waste of precious reading time. Too much drama to sit through to be left hanging. Seriously.
Like another person that left a review stated, I am sick of this trend, too.

The rave reviews must be written by teenagers. The dialog throughout is childish and silly. This author doesn't have a clue how to describe wealthy people or how successful people behave. This so called love story seems like it is two kids in highschool! Name calling, sticking tongue out at someone? Are you kidding me? I so want my money back.

    Terrible

I was very disappointed by this book. Although I read multiple reviews claiming that the female lead was too indecisive, I was still unprepared for the level of inability to actually stick to any life decision. The hero was at leasta little more likeable, but he wasn't enough to make up for the heroine. I can't archive this fast enough.

    Hmmm

This story is strangely similar to the Thoughtless series that already published.

    Eh

I couldn't finish reading it. It just got so tedious! The lead was so immature! No I'm staying with dillion bc.... n gavin, the guy she should be with, instead of trying to work things out, she ran away n refused to have an open convo. It was frustrating. Not even going to bother finishing or checking out the next book.

    Really!??

Very predictable, the main characters are not well though out. Emilly is unbelievably navie and stupid. Geeese, there's a second book of this nonsense? Unbelievable!

    Not worth it.

I can't even finish it. It is boring. I don't like third person perspective, it leaves you unable to really connect with the characters. The thoughts switch from one character to next so quickly it is hard to keep track of who is thinkinng or doing what. Save your $.

    Collide

The characters act like high schoolers. To me they were so immature not the age they were supposed to be. That said I could not even finish the book. I think I got to the 5th chapter. DONT EVER COMPARE THIS BOOK TO THOUGHTLESS! NOT EVEN A CLOSE SECOND.
