    This CD "Blows My Mind"

When I first started to listen to the CD and "Freak Parade" came on, I was sort of worried that it was going to be anohter goof-off album. Not that I have any problem with this but one is enough. Then "Comin' To Your City" came on then I turned my stereo up and i never turned it down because after that it was one jam after another. Big and Rich is going to be an house hold name one of these day's so, I recomend you jump on the band wagon early. FreakParade777

Big and Rich have mixed in a little jazz, country and R&B to create an album that touches all the senses. Like their last album Horse of a different color they have brought out their beliefs and hearts. They are an excellent duo who light up the stage.

Big & Rich's sophmore CD, "Comin' To Your City" is just as fun, creative, and serious as their first CD "Horse Of A Different Color." They have really hit the "Big Time" with this CD. It is amazingly great. I absolutely love it! I have been listening to it since I got it on the release date. It opens with a fun tune called "The Freak Parade" which is just a spoken, sung intro showing John and Kenny's humor. I am sure you have heard the first single "Comin' To Your City". The next single is the next to last song on the CD. It is called "The 8th Of November". This song is the most meaninful, tear-jerker on the album. The song is about their friend Niles Harris, who survived a deadly ambush in Vietnam where 48 of his men died on "the 8th of November 1965". Probably the most Rockin' song is "Soul Shaker" which is a great tune. Also the song "I Pray For You" which is the second dong they ever wote together. The chorus goes like so: "I light a candle/ watch it burn/ I feel the angels come and fill this room/ Oh when your gone/ I miss you so much/ I do the only thing I can do/ I Pray For You/ I Pray For You." Another song that ois sort of on the pop side is "Never Mind Me" which lets us hear their voices seperately and then their voices hormanize so beatifuly. It really shows off Kenny's deep baritone voice and John's tenor voice. The song "Leap Of Faith" is one of my favorites. Just something about it, you have to hear it as well as the song "Slow Motion". The last song is called "Our America". It has several impotant American works all put together. Such as The Preable of the Constitution, Martin Luther King Jr.'s famous "I Have A Dream" Speech, and the "Star Spangled Banner". This is one of the best CD's. Don't hesitate to buy it . You will fall in love with it!
