    more from this reviewer

For those interested in gaining A+ certification, you can't go wrong with this selection.

I'm currently about half-way through with reading the large bulk of material presented and I'm very happy with the purchase of this book. It is presented in a very accessible manner, particularly for anyone who is even the slightest bit tech savvy. I would think this material is readily accessible to anyone interested in A+ certification, regardless of your previous knowledge or experience.

The material presented in the A+ certification seems to be a nice foundation for other topic specific certifications such as Network+. While there are no prerequisites that I am aware of for many of these certifications, I feel the breadth of material that is presented in this A+ study guide would be a great starting point for anyone interested in or already working in the IT field and specifically seeking out these other certifications.

I selected this particular book because of previous experience with Sybex study/reference materials that I was impressed with, and this new A+ Complete Study Guide - Deluxe Edition, does not disappoint. I feel by the time I am finished with this material, I will be as well prepared as I can be for the certification test.

Mr Peabody Wrote: I bought the same or the paperback version of this book. its a good book.
Of couse, any one in IT knows that the 220-701-702 test is now obsolete, and the new standard test is for the "801-802 " test.

However, this book for 701-702 is still a good book, with lots of relevenat content. still a great referance book, and could be used to study for the 801 I guess.

I took the 701 in 2013, and passed it. just before they changed it to the 801 . stiil have to take the 802 I guess.
