Very Misleading Title for a Disappointing Book
Nothing new in this book, and nothing you probably don't already know or can find for free online. It may be my fault, but I expected much more from this book. I expected recipes and lists of foods; instead, it gives detailed explanations of popular diets such as The South Beach Diet, Atkins, Weight Watchers Winning Points System, The Zone, Pritikin, and every other diet you've heard of and can read about for free online.
The book also suggests you exercise to reduce stress and lose weight, quit smoking, and a glossary of terms such as "acne" and "cartilage". I usually find "The Complete Idiot's Guide" series to be so helpful, but this one was not. It's probably the worst in the series, in my opinion. A much better alternative is "The Arthritis Cure Cookbook" by Brenda Adderly. It's not offered in NOOK form, but is offered in softcover with tons of easy-to-find ingredients and delicious recipes to rebuild damaged joints.
It also gives suggestions for creating an "arthritis-friendly kitchen. If you're looking recipes get that book instead. The Anti-Inflammation Diet book is a waste of money.
