Okay but not Great: Beds In Heads is Much Beter

I'd just finished "Beds in Heads" and was hoping this book would produce similar riveting and hilarious behind-the-scenes stories on how to please the high maintenance clientele of high-end hotels. Sadly, it fell short. Although it starts off with promising style and humor and lots of insider experiences about being a Hollywood casting agent assistant, once the author moves to NYC and becomes a hotel concierge, it loses momentum.

The insider tips and experiences the author shares fall flat. They end up more run-of-the-mill than truly eye-winking insider insights that "Beds In Heads" consistently produces.

This is an okay read, but not a great one. Or, maybe, just don't read "Beds In Heads" before this one :o)
