Wish I didn't read this one

I don't know who wrote all of those great reviews because this book left me with a sour taste in my mouth.

Reviewers said it was very funny. It wasn't laugh out loud. If you want a funny book, check out Seduction and Snacks. That is a funny book. Laugh out loud, cause...

Reviewers said it was very funny. It wasn't laugh out loud. If you want a funny book, check out Seduction and Snacks. That is a funny book. Laugh out loud, cause a scene giggling book.

Back to the sour taste this book left me with... Allie freaking Cat has a thing with a gigilo (and by thing I mean they have sex- often) and then... dun, dun, dun she realizes he is her daughter's swim coach. So what does she do? She takes him inside while daughter is swimming to have oral with the guy. Great choice there!!! Mother of the freaking year. Yes, its completely ok to have a male whore in the pool with my teenage daughter. (Sarcasm, for those who were wondering.)
Then she realizes she works for and has a crush on her gigilo's DAD. So whats a girl to do? Well she starts a dating dear old dad and they live happily ever after.

Really, freaking, really? In what universe is it ok to have sex with a guy (a lot of sex) and then have sex and marry the father of said guy?

That is horrible and twisted and sneaky and underhanded. The son knows, the wife knows, and the husband is in wedding bliss not aware that his son had already played in his new wife's playground.

This book had potential. It took a wrong turn with the interwoven coach aspect but could have been saved. But oh-no, it wasn't saved, it was driven off a freaking cliff and exploded in an intense fire of wrong when Allie and Shade aka Colby decided it was ok to keep their sexual past a secret from dear old dad.

This book made me feel yucky. She started a marriage with a horrible and hurtful secret. I know this is fiction and fantasy. Its a book, not real. But I could not connect with this book or "enjoy" the fanatsy. It felt wrong and dirty. And NOT the goid kind of dirty.

    Little too out there

Really wanted to like this but a little too twisted for me. No problem with the idea of hiring someone for sex. Just can't wrap my mind around allowing the hiree to also be my teenage daughter's swimcoach. Further twisted by same gigolo/swimcoach being son of new boss. New boss that she ends up dating then marrying. Really truly wanted to enjoy this.
