The book itself is worthy of 5 stars, because it's easy to read, straight to the point, and has historical value at this point. I, however, am not going to give this version of the book 5 stars, because of the bizarre afterword by Robert F. Kennedy Jr. He starts the afterword off by talking about Goldwater's relationship with JFK, which is interesting. But the afterword quickly devolves into a harangue against modern conservatives. It's just odd that a polemic against conservatives would be added as an afterword to this book. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
